Falcinelli: “I’m pleased with my goal but the team’s performance was the most satisfying thing”

Diego Falcinelli had this to say following today’s match:

“An important victory at a difficult time for us: we couldn’t take the win for granted this evening. I’m happy to score my first goal, but I’m particularly happy about the message the team sent out. Now we have to remain focused. The players have reacted positively to the training camp we’ve taken part in: it provides us with the opportunity to stay together, with all of the group wanting to overcome this difficult period. Our attitude has always been positive up until this point but we’ve made too many mistakes. But the team is alive and kicking and hoping to emerge victorious from a must-win  match on Sunday.”
