Dzemaili: “We gifted them the first half”

This is what Blerim Dzemaili had to say after the Rossoblu’s 2-0 defeat to Cagliari on Saturday:

“We gifted the first half to Cagliari and you can’t allow this in Serie A. All week we said that we had to attack, but we didn’t take to the field with the right attitude. We need more character when we have the ball. It wasn’t all over after the goals but in a stadium like this, it’s difficult to get back into it. We demonstrated great character but it wasn’t enough. What did the Coach say at the end? He was angry because we had worked on crosses all week. We knew that they were strong in the air.”
