De Leo’s post-match verdict following #BolognaVerona

Speaking after today’s 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona, Emilio De Leo gave his verdict on a number of the game’s decisions:

“We knew that it would be a tough and physical match. It was constantly broken up by fouls, with decisions being made that weren’t always consistent. The game undoubtedly changed following Bani’s red card, after which nerves inevitably crept in. When looking at this incident, it did not seem entirely fair to us when comparing it other decisions linked to our opponents. As for Dominguez starting, this is a big positive for us. Similarly to Schouten, they are two solid players and they put in quality performances well of aware of their positional play.”
