CONI presents Bologna with Collare d’Oro

This morning, Bologna FC 1909 was at the Accademia della Scherma at the Foro Italico to receive the Collare d’Oro prize for sporting merit. It’s the highest award bestowed by the Olympic committee and it’s reserved for sports clubs over 100 years ago old and already in possession of the Golden Star for sporting merit.

Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni also presented the award to four other clubs Ginnastica Etruria, Rari Nantes Torino, Circolo del Golf di Roma Acquasanta and Moto Club Pavia along with sportspeople from various disciplines including Vincenzo Nibali, Antonio Cairoli, Federica Pellegrini, Jessica Rossi, Beatrice Vio and the 1982 World Cup winning side.
