BFC ACADEMY CUP 2026 PRESENTED YESTERDAY

There are seven days to go until the inauguration of the third BFC Academy Cup, a tournament dedicated to affiliated clubs which marks the conclusion of the 2025/26 season. “For our Club, it is a great source of pride to highlight the growth achieved over these years,” explained Alessandro Ramello. “In the first edition we had a total of 24 teams registered, then 87 in the second, and for the upcoming edition we have now reached 130 teams.”

Yesterday, at the Youth Sector press room at the Centro Tecnico Niccolò Galli, all 36 clubs – both those attending in person and those connected remotely — were presented with the details and schedules for the tournaments involving the following age groups: Primi Calci 2018 (12 teams), Primi Calci 2017 (22 teams), Pulcini 2016 (16 teams), Pulcini 2015 (28 teams), Esordienti 2014 (24 teams) and Esordienti (28 teams), for a total of 1,200 young players.

The event will begin with the opening ceremony on Friday 15 May at the Stadio Comunale Moretti in Cesenatico, where all participating teams will be introduced. Matches will then take place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May, leading up to the final prize ceremonies across venues in Pinarella di Cervia at the Campo Sportivo B. Filippi, Gatteo a Mare at the Centro Sportivo G. Mare, and again in Cesenatico at both the Campo Sportivo Peep and the Stadio Comunale Moretti.

Organised in collaboration with Adria Sport and in partnership with Main Sponsor PanPiuma, the tournament offers participants the opportunity to enjoy a weekend centred around fair play, friendship and healthy competition in a true Rossoblù atmosphere.
