“We were aggressive in the first half, dominated the pitch, and scored. But in the second half, we dropped off too much. We need to improve. We know we’re better than this; there are some things we need to work on. This evening, the guys that came off the bench should’ve made a bigger impact, brought the game back to life, and changed it. That didn’t happen. A lot of us arrived in the summer; we need to settle in and lend a hand to the coach and team. We’re trying, and we’ll get there. I need to get back into form and readjust to the pace of the game. I know it’s not easy, but my teammates have faith in me, which gives me confidence. The Bologna you all know will come out.”
