“A GOAL FOR THEM”: MONGE AND BENU FARMACIA SUPPORT THE MARZABOTTO AND CALDERARA DOG SHELTERS ALONGSIDE BOLOGNA FC 1909

“A Goal for Them” — the project through which Bologna FC 1909 supports the dog shelters in Marzabotto and Calderara — continues with the aim of making a tangible difference to the wellbeing of the animals hosted at the facilities, while supporting the invaluable work carried out by volunteers.

For the second consecutive year, the Club has continued the initiative through awareness activities and corporate volunteering, involving Club employees and a range of local organisations in a shared commitment to caring for the dogs welcomed by the two shelters.

As part of this support programme, Rossoblù partners Monge and BENU Farmacia have also chosen to take an active role in the project, providing meaningful contributions to assist the facilities.

Monge donated canned food and calming chew treats — products particularly beneficial to the dogs’ wellbeing, helping make their days more peaceful, stimulating and filled with positive moments. BENU Farmacia, meanwhile, provided €100 gift cards, enabling the shelters to purchase essential products and medication from BENU pharmacies, offering direct support for the day-to-day needs of the animals in their care.

A gesture of genuine generosity and sensitivity, reaffirming how collaboration between the Club, its partners and the local community can become real, practical support for those who care every day for these vulnerable animals.
