Vincenzo Italiano commented on today’s defeat:

“We’ve taken a step backwards, for sure. We wanted to build momentum and strengthen our position in the table. It’s disappointing because we had done the hardest part, breaking the deadlock in a challenging match, but then we weren’t able to hold on to it. The first goal could have been avoided, and for the second I’d say we should have committed a foul to stop that counterattack. We expected a different kind of game, but now we immediately turn our thoughts to Thursday.”
