Vincenzo Italiano’s post-match comments

Vincenzo Italiano had the following to say after today’s draw: “The back-to-back away games on Thursday and Sunday showed us that this season we’ll have few chances to prepare matches in detail. We did well to turn things around, but we then didn’t handle the final moments as well as we could have. I rotated a lot of players, accepting the calculated risk of losing a bit of our identity. Still, there are positive signs, we add a point to our tally, and we keep moving forward. We have a strong squad, and now we face Freiburg. We have to remember that there will always be ups and downs over the course of the season.”
