Tommaso Pobega shared his thoughts at the end of the match:

It was a hard-fought game, 90 minutes played at a consistently heightened pace. Roma proved their strengths and pressed us, trying to put us in difficulty. At the start, we struggled: some technical errors didn’t allow us to start the game off the way we wanted, and Roma gained confidence. After about 20 minutes, we adjusted a few things and started to find our feet, playing more on our terms. With a bit more composure, we could have broken the deadlock and maybe reopened the match. We’ll work on it during the week, and I’m sure we’ll be ready for the next match.”
