“Let’s play together”: BFC Senza Barriere and AS Roma Special together at the Olimpico

On Saturday #RomaBFC, the children from BFC Senza Barriere, the Rossoblù football school dedicated to disabled children, experienced a unique day at the Stadio Olimpico, watching the match with the AS Roma Special team inside the Quiet Room, a dedicated space designed to ensure calm and comfort for fans with sensory requirements.

The event was more than just a game: for ninety minutes, the children were able to share emotions, smiles, and socialise, once again demonstrating how sport is a universal language capable of breaking down barriers, promoting inclusion, and building meaningful relationships.

What made the evening even more special was a visit from Marco Di Vaio and Federico Balzaretti, two of the clubs’ legends, who greeted the young people before kick-off, bringing their encouragement and the message of support from their respective teams.

This initiative sends a clear message in support of a more inclusive and welcoming society, where everyone can feel included in the same footballing passion, irrespective of their differences.
