Jonathan Rowe spoke after the match:

“We always go onto the pitch aiming to perform at our best and achieve the best possible result, but today we conceded two goals close together that put us under pressure and we struggled too much with their transitions. Now it’s important to put this result behind us and focus on Thursday’s Europa League match.

I’m pleased to have scored my first goal in Serie A, but I know I can do better and so can the team. Personally, I always try to give my all — I feel part of the squad and I’m adapting to the style of play in Serie A.”
