Inzaghi: “A deserved victory, we kept going until the end”

Coach Inzaghi had this to say after today’s 2-1 win:

“I wanted the team to demonstrate their worth and significant ability, despite what is being said about us. We did have problems today against a good Udinese team, but we managed to limit them and then started to play well, especially in the second half. I’m extremely pleased for our supporters, who were clearly proud of us today, as well as our President, who we owe a lot to. I think these three points are a lovely birthday present for him. He’s a great person and any coach would love to work with him. We showed fantastic spirit today. If you look at Orsolini, for example, who came on and displayed such desire. It was a deserved victory today; we kept going until the end and didn’t want to settle for a point. Now it’s possible to say that the past week has been a positive one.”
