Ferrari undergoes keyhole surgery on knee

Alex Ferrari underwent keyhole surgery on his right knee at the Villa Toniolo clinic this morning. The operation, carried out by Prof. Marcacci and his team, aimed to stabilise the external meniscus and was a complete success.

The operation was necessary because of a distortion in the knee sustained during a personal fitness programme that the defender was undertaking over the holidays.

Ferrari will rest for the next two weeks before starting rehabilitation.
