Eivind Helland joins Bologna

Bologna FC 1909 is delighted to announce the permanent signing of defender Eivind Helland from SK Brann.

The second Norwegian in the club’s history, Helland is a modern central defender with an imposing physical presence, comfortable playing out from the back and confident in possession. Born in 2005, Eivind started out in the Sædalen youth setup before moving to Fyllingsdalen, where he made his senior debut in 2021. His move to Brann marked a decisive step in his development, with his Eliteserien debut coming in 2023 and his first appearances in UEFA competitions following in 2024. His first senior Norway cap arrived last October, further confirmation of his steady progress and a talent very much on the rise.
