Dijks: “If we keep playing like this then we can stay up”

Comments from Dijks after Monday’s defeat to Roma:

“We put in a great first-half performance. If we’d scored then it would’ve been a different match. I’m angry because we deserved the win. Roma increased the pressure in the second half and we struggled after the penalty. We train hard under Mihajlovic. Personally, I’ve settled well into the 4-3-3 because it’s a formation that I was used to at Ajax. Playing from the off gives me confidence from the coach, who asks me to help the central defenders when we don’t have possession. We must believe in this group and if we keep playing like we did tonight then I’m certain we can stay up.”
