Di Vaio: “We want to bring consistency to the team”
Bologna Club Manager Marco Di Vaio was interviewed this morning by Radio 1 Rai. “Our wish, as stated yesterday by Claudio Fenucci, is to go again with Roberto Donadoni next season,” he said. “As survival is now in the bank, we want to start building for next year. We will speak with the manager and the ownership to set out our future projects. Infrastructure is key for our club, especially the stadium. In two and a half years, the President has invested over 100 million in the club, bringing Bologna up from Serie B. To return to being a great team will need time and patience but we’re moving in the right direction. We recently presented a new wing at our training ground and also brought all of the youth set-up back to Casteldebole. Every day, we all put something into Bologna. We want to bring consistency to this team, allowing our players to develop alongside the new arrivals that will certainly come in during the transfer window. We know that these boys will give us a lot more next season and we’ll see games such as yesterday’s more often.”
