Bologna extends condolences on the passing of Renzo Ragonesi
Renzo Ragonesi passed away last night in Bologna at the age of 82. He joined the Rossoblù youth sector as a 16-year-old in 1960 and played as a midfielder in three first-team matches in the Mitropa Cup in 1962, before embarking on a long career that saw him also play for Catanzaro, Venezia, Reggiana, SPAL, Parma, and Modena. He returned to Bologna first as Primavera coach and later as assistant to Franco Colomba during the 2009/10 season. Bologna FC 1909 extends its deepest condolences to his family and to everyone who knew and admired him.
