Torosidis picks up an assist as Greece beat the Netherlands

It was a great night for Greece as they deservedly came back to beat the Netherlands 2-1 at Eindhoven’s Philips Stadium. After going behind, the Hellenic side equalised in the 29th minute with a Mitroglou header from a perfect delivery by our new signing Vasilis Torosidis. A goal from Gianniotas then secured the result for Greece. Captain Torosidis came off in the 46th minute. Marios Oikonomou did not play and neither did Erick Pulgar as Chile lost 2-1 to Paraguay which makes their road to the World Cup more difficult.
