Taider: “It was important to start off on the right foot”
Saphir Taider, whose amazing lob made it 2-0 to Bologna on Friday night, was understandably in high spirits after the final whistle. “I’m very happy. I’d like to dedicate this goal to my son Alaeddine,” stated the Algeria international, who then added that “midfielders like myself have to get into the box as often as possible in order to trouble the opponents. It was important to get off on the right foot. We’ve done that and now need to keep working ahead of the Serie A opener against Crotone. We feel fine physically, as we’ve trained intensely for over a month now. I’m feeling good thanks to the work done at the training camp.”
