National duty: the Rossoblù in action yesterday
Many Rossoblù players were on the pitch with their respective national teams yesterday: on the fourth matchday of the 2024 European Championship qualifiers, Marko Arnautovic and Stefan Posch’s Austria beat Sweden 2-0. Both Bologna players played one half of the match: 45 minutes for Posch who started at the whistle and 45 minutes for Arnautovic who came on at the beginning of the second half.
Victories on the European Championship qualification trail also for Lewis Ferguson’s Scotland, who beat Georgia 2-0, and for Lukasz Skorupski’s Poland in the 3-2 win over Moldova. Both were not fielded while John Lucumi played the full match for his Colombia side in the friendly match they won 2-0 against Germany.
29 minutes on the pitch in the FinlandU21 shirt for Niklas Phyytia in the friendly lost 1-0 against Slovenia. Friendly match and 0-0 draw against Bolivia for Gary Medel’s Chile, who played the entire match.
