“Mi chiamo Renato”: docudrama on Bologna’s stadium to be shown tonight in Piazza Maggiore
At 21:30 this evening in Piazza Maggiore, a preview will be shown of “Mi chiamo Renato”, a film directed by Emilio Marrese, Paolo Muran and Cristiano Governa. Bologna FC 1909 lent its support to the docudrama which was produced by Paolo Muran Doc in collaboration with WildLab Multimedia and Genoma Films. It recounts the 90-year history of the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara which is the Rossoblu’s historic home but also much more: boxing; rugby; American football; great concerts from the likes of Patti Smith, Lou Reed, Joe Cocker and Vasco Rossi; political rallies and religious rights have all been held at the ground.
The story of the stadium is the story of Bologna but above all the story of the people of Bologna. It will be shown through the eyes of various characters played by Vito, Bob Messini, Angela Baraldi, Bruno Pizzul, Giancarlo Marocchi and our very own Adam Masina, in a rare acting role.
