Donadoni: “That was two points dropped”
Here were Roberto Donadoni’s thoughts after #PalermoBFC: “We started the match with the right spirit,” he began. “Then, the red card for Pulgar unfortunately complicated things. It was a moment of naivety from Erick and he shouldn’t have done it. Just before the game I said to play calmly and not respond to any provocations. Sometimes the referees pretend not to have heard certain things but the fact remains that Pulgar made a mistake. As the match went on, we controlled things well even when down to ten men. We went close to scoring and we only allowed Palermo to have couple of mistakes near the end which came from our naivety. Overall, rather than a point won, I’d talk about two points dropped.”
