Bologna at the first UEFA Respect Forum
On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 June, Bologna was invited to participate in the first UEFA Respect Forum, organised by the Social & Environmental Sustainability Division of UEFA, chaired by Michele Uva.
Held in Frankfurt at the headquarters of the German Football Association (DFB), the Forum featured a series of conferences, roundtables and workshops in order to actively promote social and environmental sustainability across all of European football by questioning how the game can help “inspire, activate and accelerate collective action.”
Attended by 200 industry experts and representatives of European national federations, leagues and clubs who actively promote social and environmental sustainability across European football, the plenary sessions featured top-level speakers, including the UNHCR High Commissioner Filippo Grandi and Helena Dalli, the European Commissioner for Equality. Representing Bologna was Clara Simonini, the Rossoblù Football and Social Responsibility Officer.
