Alex Ferrari made his Italy U21s debut

It was a special evening for our Alex Ferrari as he made his debut for the Italy Under-21 side in Venice after being selected in the starting XI by head coach Luigi Di Biagio for the friendly against France which the Azzurrini lost 1-0. Alex was on the pitch up until the 78th minute. His Rossoblù teammate Adam Masina started on the bench before coming on halfway through the second half. Elsewhere, Saphir Taider played the full 90 minutes and delivered a winning assist as he starred in Algeria’s 2-0 win away over the Seychelles. Our Erick Pulgar played 12 minutes for Chile after replacing Arturo Vidal in their last warm-up match before the Copa America which they lost 1-0 to Mexico.
