Statement from the President

Yesterday evening, I held a long meeting with the directors at the club to take stock of the situation we find ourselves in. I expressed my concerns about how the team is doing: we have been performing poorly for some time now, and our poor league position reflects this fact. I expect more from everybody at the club, including the directors, the coach and the team. Now we must give everything in the next four games to ensure an improvement in our league position come the halfway point of the season. For my part, I would like to reiterate that we absolutely have to avoid relegation, and I will therefore do all that I can to ensure that the necessary investments are made to strengthen the squad during the January transfer window. I feel extremely disappointed for all those who care for Bologna deeply, but I’m convinced we can overcome this difficult situation through the support of our fans and through Inzaghi and the players putting in the hard work needed.
