Soriano’s thoughts

“We knew it would be a difficult game, because Sassuolo are a good team and if we’d given them space, we’d have been in trouble. We wanted to play an aggressive game, man mark and for the most part we did that, and scored our goals. We dropped off at the end; Sassuolo caused us problems and had more chances. In my opinion, we were unlucky to conceded those two goals at the end. We put in a good performance and will go again from here, improving at the back and being more compact in the final third. Scoring and assisting is always nice, but the important thing is to win: we need to think about the three points and the group.”
