Schouten’s comments after today’s win

This is what Jerdy Schouten had to say following Bologna’s home victory over Sampdoria today:

“We approached the game with a great attitude, we wanted to take the lead and be in the game right until the very end to pick up three points that we needed to improve our league position. We managed to do this and are very happy. Getting that first win while I’ve been on the pitch is a great feeling. I have great respect for the Coach’s choices, I do my best to prove that I’m deserving of this shirt. When the Coach decides to start me from the first minute, I’ll make sure I’m ready.”
