Mihajlovic’s post-match thoughts

Coach Mihajlovic’s thoughts on today’s defeat: “We deservedly lost, they played better and covered more ground than we did. Perhaps the fact that they had one extra day to recover had a bearing on the game, but I don’t want to look for excuses. I was sent off because I had a few choice words for the referee: we’re the team that has received the most bookings and it’s just perplexing. You’d think we have eleven assassins on the pitch, but they’re all young lads. It’s probably easier to book our players than those belonging to other teams.”
