“We knew it would be a difficult game. We’re now coming up against sides that are fighting for survival, which isn’t easy. It’s a shame because their goal came from practically their only shot on target, and we also got a bit unfortunate with Sansone’s brilliant shot hitting the bar but a draw probably is the right result. The boys tried to win until the end but certainly could’ve done better, but we’ll settle for this point. We need to get consistent results so we move on. Three points? It’s true that we could have done more but the boys ran hard for each other and it wasn’t easy for Salernitana either.”
