Mihajlovic: “A deserved win from a mature team”

Coach Mihajlovic was interviewed following the Rossoblu’s 3-0 win against Sampdoria. This is what he had to say:

“In the first half, they didn’t cause us any problems. In fact, we created two excellent chances through Soriano in addition to Dzemaili’s magnificent strike being ruled out. The goals and win then followed, something which we fully deserved.  I keep telling the lads to not look at our previous position in the table because before it wasn’t a fair reflection of Bologna. Instead, they should focus on the points we’ve picked up in recent months: our points return has been of a team fighting for the Europea League. In the last seven matches, no one has done as well as us. However, we’re not feeling relaxed at all yet, we know that next Saturday is hugely significant in terms of us achieving survival. The team is mature, and I was very pleased with the attitude we displayed. I would like to thank the crowd. They supported us all the way and created a great atmosphere. You know that I don’t like talking about individuals, but today I would like to compliment Krejcion on his performance. He played really well and showed great focus.”
