Mbaye’s post-match comments after #BolognaVerona

Ibrahima Mbaye gave his verdict on the team’s performance after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Verona:

“We expected it to be a tricky game. We did well during the first half, but we could’ve sealed the win by scoring more and defending better. Red cards can happen, in the week we’ll work on the mistakes of the second half. We must improve on our defensive play but it’s not just something for one department. We must help each other out more and try to assist the forwards in scoring. Would a win have led us a step closer to European qualification? We’ll keep taking it game by game – our objective is to improve on last year’s league position then we’ll see if we can do something more.”
