Giaccherini selected in Italy Euro 2016 squad

It’s official: a little bit of Bologna FC will be at the 2016 European Championships in France! Emanuele Giaccherini was the man to make the cut for Antonio Conte’s final Italy squad announced on Tuesday.

“Giac” has chosen to wear the number 23 shirt for the Azzurri at the tournament. Italy were drawn in group E and will play Belgium in Lyon on the 13th June, Sweden in Toulouse on the 17th June and Ireland in Lille on the 22nd June after their warm-up friendly against Finland in Verona on Monday 6th June.
