Dzemaili: “The Coach will win this battle, including for us”

Following the end of Bologna’s afternoon session at the Laranza Training Centre in Castelrotto, captain Blerim was interviewed by Sky’s Marco Nosotti: “I’m convinced that the Coach will win this battle, including for us. We feel like his family, because what he’s given us in the last six months is something of a rarity for a coach in such a small amount of time.

“He’s a strong person and none of us have any doubts that we’ll see him out on the training pitch in a few weeks. The Coach’s staff are great – we have a lot of faith in them. We’ll continue to work with a smile on our faces while remaining focused, because we want to honour the promise we made to our Coach. When he comes back, we’ll be ready to fight to do well in the league, something that the Club has asked of us.

“We’ll continue on the path we went down six months ago: the Coach is our commander and will lead us to our objectives. Today has been a blow for all of us, nobody expected something like this to happen. However, we’ll remain by his side – he’s a father figure for us. We’ll fight for him like he’ll fight for us.”
