Danilo: “Credit to all for survival”

Danilo’s comments in the mixed zone at the Stadio Olimpico following the 3-3 draw in #LazioBFC.

“We had a poor first half of the season but then with the change of coach and the win at Inter, we became more confident in our own ability. The Inter match was the key one. From then on, we started to play a more entertaining style of football while winning some important games. We earned survival on the pitch, nobody gave us anything. Again today, we had to suffer a lot in the first half. We’ve survived thanks to everyone, the players and coaching staff. A point was enough today and we played like Bologna in the second half even if it wasn’t easy with all the tension against a strong Lazio side who wanted to win and they never gave up. We’ll celebrate tonight, then we’ll focus on the Napoli match so that we can finish the season well in front of our fans.”
