Coach Mihajlovic gives his thoughts on today’s friendly

The Coach’s words to Sky:

“These matches aren’t about the final score, rather, they’re about getting the squad to where it needs to be. I know that we’re in a place to do well anyway, but the match against AC Milan is eight days away and we’ll be ready. At our training camp, the players and staff both worked really effectively, and now we’ll move forward looking to improve on the aspects of our game that aren’t quite up to scratch yes. I’m pleased that we haven’t conceded in these two friendlies, which is one of our key objectives this season. Tomiyasu as a centre-back? He’s been performing well, we’re working hard with him, and with all our defenders. I’m really happy with our new arrivals. Medel has shown that he can play in the centre of the defence, he’s surely an option for that position. In attack we might be missing an all-out striker, and we’re hoping to get someone in with the potential and motivation to grow with us. I have faith in the club.”
