Calabresi: “My first goal? A great feeling”

After scoring his first Serie A goal for Bologna, Calabresi had this to say about the match:

“We were poor in the first half: we didn’t manage to play our game. We were upset at being 2-0 down and it showed: we reacted with character and determination. We showed that the team has character and can react in a fiery manner when we need to. However, we need to start with this mentality. Coming back to rescue a point against a strong team like Torino should give us confidence, even though there is room to improve. I’m convinced that by working on our mistakes we can make our fans happy – they always support us passionately.

“My goal? I was full of emotion: I’m happy for myself on a personal level but I’m especially happy to have made a big contribution to the game. I would like to thank Orsolini for his assist and I dedicate the goal to my girlfriend, my family and the coach, who is placing his trust in me and playing me consistently.”
