Bologna to take part in Montreal’s International U14 competition

The boys from the Under-14 side will have a trip to Montreal between Thursday 7th July and Sunday 10th July in order to compete at the International U14 competition. It will be held at the Center Nutrilait which is Montreal Impact’s new training facility and chairman Joey Saputo attended its opening ceremony today.

Francesco Morara will coach the young Rossoblu players and they will have the opportunity of facing Montreal Impact, DC United and Chicago Fire.

“It’s extraordinary for our club and players to host teams of this level,” said Academy director Philippe Eullaffroy.

The team will have another week of training alongside the Montreal youngsters at the end of the tournament.

“We didn’t hesitate when we were invited to this tournament,” announced Bologna’s youth director Daniele Corazza. “It will be a fantastic chance for our players and staff to learn from the Impact’s methods.”
