Bologna and Macron together until 2023

Macron and Bologna FC 1909 have announced the renewal of a partnership which represents a record-breaking relationship between the Emilian brand, an international leader in the sportswear sector, and the historic Rossoblù Club. After extending their sponsorship deal until 2023, Macron and Bologna FC 1909 reach 22 years of partnership. The collaboration began in 2001, and can be considered one of the longest on both an Italian and international footballing level.

Macron’s CEO Gianluca Pavanello said the following after the announcement: “We can be nothing but pleased with this renewal with Bologna. Our 22 years together really represent an important journey, during which much more than a simply professional relationship was born. We’re proud to be the hallmark of a footballing tale which represents the history of Italian football, as well as the identity of our region. A renewal of mutual faith in order to develop products which increasingly represent the history of a great Club and a great city.”

The renewal of this sponsorship coincides with the launch of our new vintage line, inspired by our kits from 1964, the year of the Rossoblù’s seventh Scudetto in history. The ‘vintage unbranded’ collection consists of two match shirts, a sweatshirt and a ball.
