Barrow’s post-match comments

Musa Barrow spoke to the press after the game: “It was important for the team, that we finished the league season with a victory, and play well so as to begin to set our stall ahead of next season. My season has been far from easy, with Covid and AFCON, but I’m happy to have stayed injury-free all season. Of course, I scored fewer goals than last year, but I also look at the rest of the squad when assessing my own performances. Every season is different, so I hope that in the next one I can bag more goals.

Mihajlovic does a lot, not just for me but for the team too: we are a group with lots of youngsters and a few more experienced players. He has been able to manage the team really well. It is always a good atmosphere in this stadium, for both teams. I have many friends at this club so it’s sad to see them relegated, but unfortunately that’s football”.
