Bani’s post-match thoughts

This is what Bani had to say when interviewed in the mixed zone:

“This is an important win that builds on the victory we picked up against Napoli. It was one which we needed after we were left with a bitter taste in our mouths following the Milan match. Credit goes to the whole team: we got ourselves ready to face Atalanta, potentially one of the best teams in Europe. They have one of the best attacks in Serie A, but we managed to take the opportunities that came our way. Now, we’ll focus on Lecce and try to gain consistency in terms of results, something we haven’t managed to do yet. An emergency in defence? We’re a close-knit group, those who take to the pitch always give 100%. During the week, the Coach and his staff will set us up the right way for the fixture against Lecce.”
